Overview
The 11+ can be a daunting time for students and parents. The uncertainty of what’s ahead and the commitment it takes. Our inspirational mentors work with you to demystify the process and help guide you to success. We can’t promise it will be easy but we can promise that we will be with you every step of the way. We offer a clear and guided approach to the 11+ and hold regular feedback sessions so that you know what your child’s strengths and weaknesses are.
11+ Foundation Course
The Foundation Course covers English and Mathematics and introduces students to Verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning concepts in preparation for a full one year 11+ Preparatory Course.
11+ Preparatory Course
The Preparatory Course, to be undertaken by students in year 5, will cover each of the main topics relevant to the CEM 11+ exams in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire and provide students with the opportunity to be regularly assessed and experience the type of questions that arise in the exams.

Your mentors are subject specialists (that goes without saying), but they’re chosen because they’re dynamic, engaging, and inspiring. Each session lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes and is broken down into 3 parts according to our TPT approach (it stands for Teach-Practice-Test – you can learn more about it here).
Your mentor will tailor your learning based on your strengths and weakness, and weekly practice tests mean we constantly refine based on evidence of how you’re performing in exam conditions. This isn’t like being in school – it’s about having a friendly, motivating environment that gives you complete confidence and a clear path to success. We pride ourselves on being motivational and helping each student to develop confidence in their academic ability – something that will benefit them far beyond the 11+ exam.

Our Foundation Level and Higher Level course, for year 11 students and those wishing to improve their GCSE grades, runs for 40 sessions and gives you the exact support you need at every stage, so come results day you can bask in your achievement. It doesn’t matter what your predicted grade is, we’ll help you succeed.
Aimed at year 11 students and those wishing to improve their GCSE grades, this 40-session course is for high achievers who need top-up mentoring to get the grade. With support from an inspirational mentor and other ambitious students, you’ll get the boost you need to achieve your goal.

Whatever your predicted grade, our mentors gives you the exact support you need to succeed.

All our courses offer 40-sessions of tuition, but you can join at any time. If you’re joining partway through don’t worry – your mentor will tailor your learning based on your strengths and weaknesses so you get the help you need.
